Hotel Gondelin

In this vibrantly painted former hotel, transgender women are taking control of their lives. By creating a safe place for themselves, the women have begun to create social change. The Gondolin Hotel was the home of over 30 transvestites and transsexuals pursue sex work as a uniquely alternative way to survive in a society that excludes them. The Gondolin Hotel and has become synonymous with the birth of the transvestite movement in Argentina.
